Diana Came to Town!

Lambie came to visit this summer. She came into town for her step sisters wedding, and stayed at our house. It was a short stay but alot of fun! She got to visit with alot of her family. I hope her and Dave will be able to come agian for Christmas! Diana is working on obtianing a "common law" satus in Canada with Dave. Hopefully they will even get married someday.Pretty cool! But she better move home before they start having babies... because I have always pictures Diana, Jane and I being mamas together! I think I better not hold my breath on that one! Northern California is not really her and Daves cup of tea:) I can still hope! Love you Lambie!

My Sister Abbie had an internship last week, which required her to need a babysitter for 3 weeks. My mom, Jane Ann, and I offered to watch her for the first week. I had never seen Abbie's new house in Rancho Cordova, so it was a good opportunity to go down and checkout her new pad. When Jane and I arrived my mom and Blakie were out in front of the house waiting. Blake was smiling big and ran to give us some love. It was so cute to see her get excited to see her aunties. Blake was a Lil' Angel! We filled up her Kitty Pool and had a little pool party! The day with Blake was alot of fun, but it is always a little sad to leave. I just wish we could spend more time with her!

There's a new contractor in town! I'm so proud of JJ for setting the goal of obtaining a contractors licence and achieving it! YaHoO! Now if this economy could just turn around and give him some work! Luv you JJ...

The 4th of July at Lake Almanor

This year was one of the best fourths we have had! The people who attended were my mom and dad, sister Jane Ann and her BF Nick, my sister Abbie and her family, Uncle Pat and Denese, and J.J.. We had alot of wonderful food and laughs. JJ and my dad tested out their new smoker. The guys had a great time drinking all day and smoking their ribs. We brought the ribs to the Brusie cabin for a taste test. The brusie's cooked their ribs the classic way in the "barrel." The end result was that while both the ribs were tasty the smoker ribs could have used a lil BBQ sauce! I personal enjoyed the homemade ice cream and cobbler the best and wouldn't care if I never ate another rib again (Dont tell anyone;)). Aunt Ann did a great job on the blackberry cobbler it was super tart! Here are a few pics of the trip. The only people missing at the lake was Aunt Abbie and Lisa! Luckily Aunt Abbie is getting better everyday, and will be good as new really soon! It was alot of fun having Blake up at the Lake. It is so fun to watch a kid expierence all the things you enjoyed as a child! Babies Rock! Luv you Migoo!

I wanted to start a blog because I really enjoy reading others blogs. I always thought I would wait to creat a blog until I had something interesting to blog about, like a baby or wedding.
